Tea Time Empowerment Program is about exposing kids to different things other than what they see on television. TTEP will help mold little girls into young ladies through a positive experience. We will help build positive attitudes, strong self-esteem, self-identity and develop beautiful minds.
Our princess’s will be taught the Foundations of proper Etiquette, by going back to the basics of what our Baba & Gigi, Nana & Papa and Mawmaw & Pawpaw taught our mothers and fathers.
More than one out of every five (20.8%) students report being bullied (National Center for Educational Statistics, 2016). ... 64% of children who were bullied did not report it; only 36% reported the bullying (Petrosina, Guckenburg, DeVoe, & Hanson, 2010).Dec 8, 2016. The reasons for being bullied reported most often by students were looks (55%), body shape (37%), and race (16%) (Davis & Nixon, 2010). TTEP will enlighten our girls on different areas but not limited to the Effects of Bullying, Cyberbullying, Bullying Peers, Bullying peers with disabilities and Intervention.
TTEP environment will always include positive music, and learning positive quotes that they will be able to take with them through life. We will promote new friendships and bonds so our princesses can grow together into the Queens they are destined to be.
Kim Richards the Program Director, has held what she called youth forums and renamed it Tea Time in her home for over 10 years. This is something that she holds near and dear to her heart. The tea times started out with her own daughters and family members with daughters and eventually expanding it to other girls in the community and church. The experience of this program will open their minds to the strong possibilities of the impossible.
Tea time teaches our youth that it’s not what people say about you. It’s what you allow yourself to say about you! This helps our youth build strong characteristics in themselves. We want to produce dainty girly girls who love to look good and care about their appearance outward and inward.
Our princesses learn that they must travel first class through life, what else is there! They will leave with their head held high.
Princesses 5-13 for a 2 hour session is $25 per child.
We would love to hear from you!!
